Michelin inks Yellow Roadway deal

Michelin announced that it will supply well over half of the tires and retreads to support the 450,000 consolidated wheel positions for Yellow Roadway, effective August 1, 2004.
Through this arrangement, Michelin expects Yellow Roadway to be one of its largest North American tire and retread customers.
“We’re confident that the superior quality and service of Michelin will enable Yellow and Roadway to improve their efficiency and performance while lowering their tire-related operating cost,” said Luc Minguet, COO of Michelin Americas Truck Tires.
