Hendrickson opens China office

Hendrickson International has opened a sales and engineering office in Shanghai, China.
Jack Liang will serve as chief representative. Plans call for the company to add a sales engineer and application engineer to support current truck, bus, and trailer projects.
"With China expecte to produce more than 2.2 million commercial vehicles in the next three years, it represents an important market," says Keith Stephenson, chief development officer and president of international operations. "This is the first step in stablishing a broad Hendrickson presence in China."
Hendrickson, a Boler company, manufactures truck and tractor suspensions, trailer suspensions, truck and trailer lift axles, bumpers, and trim components. It is headquartered in Itasca IL.
