Hadley expands transit product offerings with purchase

Hadley Products Corporation, a leading manufacturer and marketer of heavy-duty vehicle products, has purchased the assets of the Transmatic Lighting division of Trans Industries.
The former Transmatic plant, located in Waterford, Michigan, will continue its current operations under the new ownership. The facility manufactures lighting products that equip the interior envelope of a transit vehicle, including strip lighting, interior panels, cove lighting systems, parcel racks, as well as custom lighting components and systems.
"We're excited about this opportunity to increase our breadth of products to better serve our customers", says Robert Dubsky, President of Hadley. "Hadley already manufactures mirrors, grab handles, stanchions and a variety of custom items for transit buses and light railcars - adding interior lighting products complements our line of offerings to this industry."
