Utilimaster announces aluminum surcharge

Effective Feb 8, 2006, Utilimaster Corp has instituted an aluminum metal surcharge on all products using this material.
“The surcharge is necessary because of the dramatic increase in the cost and volatile nature of this commodity. We believe that this type of flexible increase is the most impartial because it is product-specific and will accurately reflect the fluctuations in the marketplace. However, it is with reluctance that we are adjusting prices,” said Kevin Page, vice-president of sales and marketing.
