Stellar expands manufacturing plant

Stellar Industries Inc is constructing a 7,100-square-foot addition to its manufacturing facility in Garner IA. The company recently awarded Larson Contracting a contract for excavation, concrete base, and building. Scheduled to begin immediately, the project should finish in the first quarter of 2007.
Included with this expansion will be an area for new machine tool purchases that are planned for later in 2007, a common cutting and bending location, a drive-through receiving area for sheet and plate steel, and overall improved factory flow.
