Schwartz acquires division from Alamo Group

Schwartz Body Co LLC of North Haven CT has purchased the Schwartz Truck Body Division from Alamo Group USA. Schwartz Body Co LLC will have its main offices in Connecticut, and will continue to have its bodies manufactured in South Dakota with the same specifications.
William G Rademacher, formerly sales and marketing manager of the Body Division, has joined Schwartz Body Co LLC to continue his relationship with customers.
Schwartz Body Co. LLC is looking to expand sales of its truck bodies to various businesses, including landscaping, towing, and industrial and material handling, and to extend the present product line to include bodies that fit vehicles from 10,000- to 73,000-lb GVW.
