RKI hits the road with Hilti for national tour

Jun 1, 2004 12:00 PM

RKI, a manufacturer of commercial-grade truck equipment based in Houston TX, has teamed with Hilti, producer of tools, fasteners, and firestop for construction and building maintenance, to upfit two Advantage Pro Tour special-event truck and trailer units.

These Ultimate Contractor Machines are the centerpiece of Hilti's 2004 mobile marketing campaign. Hilti and RKI previously worked together in 2003 on a co-marketing program in Hilti Pro Shops at Home Depot stores offering contractors RKI truck boxes and Hilti tools.

RKI is a supporting sponsor of the national tour with the Hilti team that will make stops at more than 400 locations nationwide, including Hilti Pro Shops at Home Depot stores between now and January 2005. The tour includes two Ultimate Contractor Machines, showcasing Hilti tools, RKI service bodies, and Dodge trucks.

During the national tour, contractors and consumers alike will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win the tour trucks awarded at the end of the tour. Contractors will see product demonstrations of the RKI service body, Hilti tools, and Dodge trucks.
