Omaha Standard plant nears completion

Jan 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Omaha Standard's construction of its new manufacturing facility in Council Bluffs IA is on schedule. The company will manufacture its lines of truck bodies, hoists, liftgates, and accessories in the new plant. It started construction on the 205,000-square-foot facility in March 2005. The move of the production lines began in mid-November and will be completed by the end of 2005 with the transition to e-coat finishing taking place simultaneously.

The office move will take place in January with the facility fully operational in February 2006.
