MS county honors Heil Environmental

Heil Environmental Truck Equipment Group has been named Tishomingo County, Mississippi, Industry of the Year for 2005 by the Tishomingo County Development Foundation. Heil produces dump bodies, snow/ice control bodies, hoists, and other truck equipment at its manufacturing facility in Tishomingo.
The award was presented at the foundation's annual awards banquet in November. At the ceremony, Gary Matthews, foundation executive director, praised Heil's commitment to its employees and the company's continuous improvement efforts. Heil was unanimously selected for the award by the foundation's board of trustees after board members evaluated the merits of all 35 manufacturers in the county. The board considered company accomplishments in 2005, reputation, and history.
Heil sent 15 team members to the awards presentation, including Michael Johnson, general manager.
