Collins reports quarterly, annual fiscal totals

Collins Industries Inc reported its operating results for its fiscal fourth quarter and fiscal year 2002 that ended Oct 31, 2002. Net income rose 17% for the quarter to $1,232,593 compared with $1,054,515 in the same period of 2001.
Sales for the quarter ended Oct 31, 2002 increased 2% to $58,169,663 compared with $57,009,423 for the same period in fiscal 2001.
Sales decreased 3% to $200,839,393 in fiscal 2002 compared with $207,653,284 in fiscal 2001. Net income for fiscal 2002 fell 27% to $1,747,833, compared with $2,382,027 for fiscal 2001.
The company's sales backlog at Oct 31, 2002, had risen 9% over the same period last year to $42.2 million compared with $38.8 million at Oct 31, 2001.
