Collins lands GSA contract for ambulances

Collins Industries Inc, the Hutchinson KS-based manufacturer of ambulances, once again has secured the United States Government Services Administration (GSA) contract for ambulances. This one-year contract, with four additional one-year options, covers the purchase of Type I and Type III modular ambulances and Type II van ambulances.
Substantially all ambulances purchased by the US government, including all branches of the armed forces, are to be procured under this contract. The GSA estimates the first-year value of the contract at more than $6.7 million.
