Supreme Industries, Inc. today announced that, as part of its $2.1 million contract award from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, the Supreme Specialty Vehicles sales team and employees of Supreme Industries will present to representatives of Dearborn County, the state's first district Mobile Command Center Vehicle.

The presentation is scheduled for Dec. 1 at Supreme's corporate headquarters in Goshen, IN.

As part of its joint venture with the Federal Department of Homeland Security, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) will deploy a total of five mobile command centers in Indiana. These vehicles incorporate redundant communication systems to ensure full command capability even in the most dire of situations, and are designed to be inter-operable with each other as well as with the IDHS command base.

The Supreme Specialty Vehicles division, www.SupremeSV.com, purchased the Freightliner M2 chassis from Stoops Freightliner of Fort Wayne, IN. Production of the Dearborn County MCCV units began June 2008 at Supreme's Silver Crown plant in White Pigeon, MI.
