American LaFrance Launches CondorNest Stock Program

A new factory stock program launched by American LaFrance-what it says is the first of its kind in the heavy truck industry-will provide Condor customers with instant access to Condor chassis availability.
Accessible at http://www.condornest.com, the online CondorNest corporate stock program allows visitors to the site to view in-stock and in-production Condor chassis inventory. Specifications for each chassis can be downloaded and users can request quotes on chassis that they are interested in purchasing. Over 150 American LaFrance Condor dealers will receive all requests and can provide local sales, parts and service to the interested customer.
“We plan to offer our current model along with our two new models of Condors scheduled to release on May 7 of this year.” says Gene Parker, national sales manager for American LaFrance’s commercial division. “We will stock chassis specs that show a strong sales history and with our front loader specific chassis releasing in May, we expect to receive a great deal of demand from our customers. Also, our new medium duty chassis due out in May offers huge flexibility in the market, so we will also stock those as well.”
American LaFrance developed the Condor line in 1999, and manufactured the vocational chassis under both the Sterling and Freightliner names until the sale of the company to Patriarch Partners, LLC, in December, 2005. Now badged with the American LaFrance name, the low-cab-forward Condor cabs and chassis are used in waste handling, concrete pumping, and other municipal vehicle applications.
