Galion expanding Ohio manufacturing plant

Pat Godwin, Sr., Chairman of the Board of The Godwin Group, and owner of Galion-Godwin Truck Bodies Co., LLC, announced that construction is well under way for the new Wheelabrator blast and Nordson powder coat facility at the Galion manufacturing plant in Winesburg, Ohio. The expansion represents a significant capital investment in the Galion plant.
Powder coating will offer Galion customers a more abrasion resistant, chemical resistant, corrosion resistant, and durable base finish. It is particularly effective in resisting salt spray.
The Godwin Group is headquartered in Dunn, NC, and operates truck body manufacturing plants in Dunn, NC (Godwin Manufacturing and Champion Hoist & Equipment), Ivel, Kentucky (R&S Truck Bodies), Winesburg, Ohio (Galion Truck Bodies), and maintains a significant presence in Puerto Rico.
