Prepunched subframe simplifies body mounting

Feb 1, 2004 12:00 PM

Lamberet Nederland has developed a new subframe that makes it easier to mount insulated bodies on truck chassis. The galvanized steel subframe is punched with a hole pattern to fit any mounting requirements. Galvanized steel clips are then bolted to the subframe and to the chassis frame. No welding, cutting or drilling is required. No touch-up painting is needed. Besides the reduced mounting time, the bolted clip represents a 20% weight saving.
