Apr 1, 2006 12:00 PM

Parts Place Inc, a Wastequip company, has acquired United Refuse and Container Parts of White Plains MD. United Refuse and Container Parts supplies replacement parts for the waste equipment industry in the mid-Atlantic region.

“The addition of United Refuse and Container Parts and their team led by Marcus Bowie strengthens Parts Place ability to provide same-day or one-day service to the East Coast markets,” said Margaret Allen, general manager of Parts Place.

Piedmont SC-based Parts Place was started by Wastequip in late 2004 to provide aftermarket parts for the waste industry.

Wastequip, headquartered in Cleveland OH, manufactures, designs, and markets equipment to collect, process, and transport solid and liquid waste.
