Guide to Wholesale Distribution Industry

Pembroke Consulting has released a comprehensive new market data reference guide to the $3.6 trillion United States wholesale distribution industry. The new report, titled The 2006 Wholesale Distribution Economic Factbook, contains 2005 economic statistics organized into 111 subsectors of the overall wholesale distribution industry.
“Revenues of wholesaler-distributors grew by 8.9% over the past 12 months. Private equity firms and large corporations are paying premium prices for leading distribution companies, reflecting the industry's continuing growth and solid macroeconomic fundamentals,” said Pembroke Consulting President Adam J Fein, the study's author.
The guide supplies channel benchmarking data for each of the 111 subsectors, including revenue and employment growth trends, number and size distribution of companies, gross margins, wages, and other operating statistics.
