Canadian manufacturer acquires US distributor

Tenco Machinery, a truck body and equipment manufacturer in St Valerien De Milton, Quebec, has acquired parts of the assets of Hill Martin Corporation, a truck equipment distributor in Barre, Vermont.This newly formed company will be referred to as Tenco – New England and will continue operations out of the central office in Barre and satellite facility in Berwick. Maine, both previously occupied by Hill Martin Corporation.
Most of the Hill Martin employees have been retained by Tenco – New England, providing a trouble-free transition for the new ownership group.
Mike Murray, previously the northeast regional sales manager for Tenco has been appointed general manager of Tenco – New England.
Hill Martin has been distributing Tenco snow and ice removal products in Vermont and New Hampshire since the late 1970’s, and most recently in the State of Maine.
