Legacy Equipment Company has opened a 16,000-foot expansion and new paint booth at its facility in Salt Lake City.

Legacy Equipment Company has opened a 16,000-foot expansion and new paint booth at its facility in Salt Lake City.

"Our business levels dictated that we should make a sizable investment to better serve our client’s needs,” Legacy Equipment Company President John LeRoy said.

The addition to the existing facility includes six new service bays, a 6,000-square-foot part warehouse and a new paint booth.

The paint booth is headed by 35-year industry veteran Bill Bezner. To service fleet clients, the team can mix any color and is able to paint nearly any size of vehicle, as well as install long-lasting bed linings for all types of trucks.

The investment also positions Legacy to expand its already robust rebuild and refurbishment capabilities. Legacy has increased its capacity and streamlined its throughput to a new level, which translates to compressed turnaround times.

"It all comes down to the ability to serve our customers better," LeRoy said. "Legacy has involvement from purchase to maintenance to repair to rebuild — the whole life cycle of the equipment we sell. We are with the customer every step of the way."
