Hendrickson announced that it has elevated its global website portfolio to new responsive web designs. Mobile traffic now accounts for more than half of total internet traffic, the company said.

“It has become increasingly important to create websites that work across multiple platforms and screen sizes,” stated Mark Slingluff, director of marketing and communications. “We want to continue to enhance our end users’ experiences at all touch points.”

Responsive website pages resize themselves depending on which device they are being displayed on. Easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning and scrolling is the desired outcome of a responsive site, according to Hendrickson.

“While it is hard to put a monetary value on this, the real value is to have customers experience a positive interaction when visiting a Hendrickson website regardless of the device they may be using. We recommend keeping your browser updated to take advantage of the best user experience possible” Slingluff added.

Hendrickson, a Boler company, is a global manufacturer and supplier of medium- and heavy-duty mechanical, elastomeric and air suspensions; integrated and non-integrated axle systems; auxiliary lift axle systems; parabolic and multi-leaf springs; stabilizers and bumper and trim components to the global commercial transportation industry.
