Harsh International acquires Pummel Truck Supply

Harsh International, Inc. of Eaton, CO has acquired Pummel Truck Supply of Salem, OR. The combination of the top-quality equipment manufactured by Harsh and the superb distribution network and custom dump-body capability of Pummel will assure that the Northwest is given the best of both worlds.
"We are very excited about the purchase of Pummel as it is yet another step in providing the best possible products at the best possible value,” Harsh president Bob Brown said. “We've spent literally millions in our manufacturing equipment and facilities over the past few years and are now ready to ‘take it to the streets’.
“The Pummel acquisition is the first of what we hope will be several strategic locations for the cost effective distribution of the Harsh Hoist."
Gary Calkin will continue to manage Pummel. Jim Silldorff will become the new sales manager.
