DEL acquires Caytec

Diesel Equipment Limited has concluded the acquisition of Caytec Equipment Ltd. of Calgary, with representatives of both DEL and Caytec expecting to build on their respective strengths.
DEL president Paul Martin said the acquisition expands DEL's nationwide operations, enhancing its commitment to offering an extensive range of products and services in a multitude of markets, both in Canada and abroad.
Caytec president Peter Vanderlinden said DEL's broad product offerings and engineered solutions will strengthen and expand Caytec capabilities in the Alberta market.
Since 1945, DEL has grown to become Canada's largest full- line truck body Builder, with branches across Canada, Buffalo, N.Y., and Swindon, England. Caytec was established in 1982 and has branches in Calgary and Edmonton.
