J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc. has appointed Tom Reynolds as President of The Reading Truck Group, LLC, effective July 18.
Said JBPCO’s Chairman and CEO, John Poindexter, “Our current President, Brian Nadel, has asked to step down from his assignment to pursue a more entrepreneurial career path. While we are sorry to see Brian go, we respect his wishes.”

Tom joins Reading Truck as President after a long career as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Methode Electronics Corporation, which was named 6th on Forbes’ 2014 Best Companies under $1 billion in sales for financial performance and 15th on Fortune’s 2015 Fastest Growing Companies lists. Prior to his COO role at Methode, Tom held senior leadership positions with Donnelly and Prince Corporations. Earlier in his career, he served at General Motors with Chevrolet Engineering and later as part of the Saturn start-up team.
“Over the next month and prior to Tom’s start date, Brian will be active in the transition of leadership to Tom. During this interim period, Tom will be working with Brian and the Reading leadership group in an effort to get to know team members, customers and operations. Brian and Tom will spend some of their time visiting customers to assure them that our commitments to product quality and service will continue to be our highest priorities,” said Mr. Poindexter.
