Wabash National Corp has signed a license agreement with Kirloskar Pneumatic Co Ltd (KPCL) for Wabash's RoadRailer intermodal system.

Under terms of the agreement, Wabash National has granted KPCL the rights to manufacture and sell RoadRailer intermodal products in India. RoadRailer is a technology with the flexibility of an over-the-road trailer that is specially equipped for railroad intermodal service. It is particularly adaptable for nations that are developing freight infrastructures.

KPCL, based in Pune, India, is part of Kirloskar Group of Companies, a multi-billion dollar engineering conglomerate driving critical industries. This group of companies specializes in areas such as power, construction, mining, agriculture, transportation, oil and gas, and environment protection. Established in 1958, KPCL manufactures air compressors, air-conditioning, air refrigeration compressors, traction gears, and transmission equipment. It has revenue of approximately $90 million and about 900 employees.
