Tramec LLC, headquartered in Iola KS, has entered into an agreement with MacLean Fastener Services of Bartlett IL to sell and distribute its industrial fasteners including red nylon insert lock nuts, Uni-Torque and Mac-Loc products, and the WhizLoc serrated flange screw and bolt product line.

Tramec's product line includes patented Crewson Brunner automatic brake adjusters, air brake and electrical components, assemblies, and related accessories for the truck and trailer markets.

Gary Sullo, president of Tramec, said, “The transition of MacLean Fastener Services to Tramec LLC will be transparent to customers on all current and future business transactions.”

This new business will operate under the Tramec LLC name and will be located in Carpentersville IL. Tramec's corporate headquarters will remain in Iola.

Tramec is a subsidiary of the MacLean-Fogg Company, which has 23 North American manufacturing facilities, 11 international facilities, annual sales of approximately $800 million, and a worldwide workforce of 2,000 people.

MacLean-Fogg provides engineered fasteners, transmission components, and suspension devices to truck and equipment producers worldwide, as well as automatic connectors, composite insulators, distributor and transmission hardware, and electrical products to utility markets.
