Towmaster, Inc., of Litchfield, MN, now complies with National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) Guidelines and will display the NATM compliance decal.

Towmaster, Inc., has passed NATM safety compliance consultation, part of NATM’s compliance program. NATM’s compliance program, including its consultation, is based on the NATM Guidelines for Recommended Minimum Manufacturing Practices for Light- and Medium-Duty Trailers. The Guidelines is a compilation of federal safety standards and regulations and industry best practices that govern trailer construction.

Towmaster, Inc. has been building trailers since 1978. They manufacture trailers ranging from 3,000 – 12,000 lb. capacity. Several models available include deck-over, drop-deck, dump body, hydraulic tail, detachable gooseneck and flatbed trailers for the construction and rental industries.

NATM’s compliance program, including the on-site consultation, is available to all NATM trailer manufacturing members. Once the manufacturer’s manufacturing process passes the 80-point checklist based on the Guidelines, the company is then NATM compliant and eligible to purchase NATM’s red, white and blue compliance decals for application to its compliant trailers. The decal states that the trailer was “Manufactured in Compliance with NATM Guidelines.”
