Stellar Industries, Inc. has refunded over $250,000 to its employees for collectively working safely and reducing work-related injuries.

Due to a collective effort in safety awareness, safe working practices, pre-shift stretching, and overall improved work habits, on-the-job injuries have been greatly reduced over the past several years within the company, therefore insurance claims were at a lower than estimated rate, resulting in a payback to the company.

David Zrostlik, president of Stellar Industries, distributed the refund at a recent regularly scheduled quarterly lunch.

“It is so appropriate to give back premiums to my fellow employees for all our efforts on the job,” says Zrostlik. “Working safely has been a top priority for us, and it is paying off in more ways than one. Not only do we have a healthy and smart-working group of individuals, but also we are able to reap the monetary benefits of our hard work and attention to our surroundings. This in turn motivates us to stay aware and continue these efforts.”
