MGS Inc. has completed an acquisition of Maxey Companies, located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Maxey Co., in business since 1969, is well known for its sizable retail trailer sales and parts operation along with fleet truck fitting. Maxey is also known for its manufacturing of specialized trailers for both OEMs and public utilities. This acquisition will provide MGS with increased regional manufacturing capacity, allowing the better servicing of national OEM and western Public Utility customers.
Said MGS President Andy Gehman, “This has been part of our long-term planning process. We are excited to complete this acquisition, and after working with Maxey Co. for years we know we have found our perfect match for manufacturing and trailer sales on the western side of the country”.
