Kile Truck Refrigeration of Nashville, Tenn., was named Carrier Transicold’s 2012 North America Dealer of the Year, and Reefer Services of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, was named Latin America Dealer of the Year at the annual meeting.
Carrier Transicold helps improve global transport and shipping temperature control with a complete line of equipment for refrigerated trucks, trailers and containers, and is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
This is the second North America Dealer of the Year award for Kile Truck Refrigeration, having also been named in 2000.
“In 2012, Kile Truck Refrigeration excelled in all areas – customer satisfaction, service proficiency, year-over-year improvement, investment and growth,” said Tom Spencer, manager, dealer network, Carrier Transicold. “Their strong performance was a result of their professionalism, passion and focus on customers.”
Kile Truck Refrigeration also received Carrier Transicold’s first-ever “Extra Mile” Award. The award recognizes, “Exemplary customer service delivered consistently over time,” said Spencer. “Kile truly goes the extra mile for its customers, as demonstrated by the many customer accolades it has received.”
Reinforcing Kile Truck Refrigeration’s strong service record, the dealership’s Mark Garner was named Dealer Service Manager of the Year. A Carrier Transicold dealer since 1991, Kile Truck Refrigeration also attained a Quota Buster Award for exceeding sales goals and the NextLevel2 Platinum Award, recognizing achievements for sales, service, customer focus, growth and investment in the business.
This was also the second Latin America Dealer of the Year Award for Reefer Services, which also took top honors for the region in 2008.

Reefer Services was founded in 1999 as a Carrier-authorized marine container refrigeration service center and later expanded into the truck and trailer refrigeration business. For 2012, Reefer Services also received Carrier Transicold’s NextLevel2 Perfect Score award as well as Double-Digit Growth and Quota Buster awards.
