Kentucky High Tech Performance Trailers has expanded to a new 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility located at 7070 International Drive in Louisville, just one mile from Kentucky Trailer's company headquarters. This new facility allows for additional growth as the division advances.

"The new facility gives us the ability to provide excellent service to each racing team, which results in the fastest delivery times," stated Bob Manley, President of Kentucky High Tech Performance Trailers.

The lateral move provides Kentucky High Tech Performance Trailers with several construction bays where complete manufacturing and additional trailer services are performed by expert technicians. Work performed includes complete custom cabinetry, various expandable office workstations and living quarters, improved lift gate designs, all-LED interior and exterior lighting, durable storage box options, a wide variety of generators and HVAC systems and the latest in audio, video and communication systems. Additionally, the new facility offers advanced decal and graphics expertise and an 80-foot paint booth with heated and rapid curing technology giving each race team the look they desire.

"This is yet another step ensuring we'll be the best at delivering custom design, build, and service solutions to the specialty trailer market," stated Kevin Atkins, Director of Operations. "The excitement from our customers and team has been great."

Associates at Kentucky High Tech Performance Trailers are dedicated to identifying customer needs and delivering custom solutions. Since moving to the new facility in late October 2012, the staff has grown to include 24 associates. Additional associates are expected to join the team in the near future.

"With our new bay construction facility, our team can improve productivity due to flexible hours for new orders and emergency trailer service," stated Brian Clark, Kentucky High Tech Performance Trailers Project Manager. "This reduces turnaround time and allows us to meet customer demands more quickly."

In July 2012, Kentucky High Tech Performance Trailers began offering trackside and 24-hour mobile emergency services to all motorsports teams including HVAC and generator service, lift gate service and maintenance, and an extensive onsite trailer maintenance inventory. The service truck will be attending various races in the upcoming 2013 seasons. A full schedule will be available in January at kytrailer.com/kht.
