Trailer manufacturer Kögel has acquired an additional 16 acres at its Burtenbach, Germany, facility, adding to the existing 98 acres, which accommodate office buildings, production halls and storage areas.
The impetus was an increase in large-scale European orders and orders associated with the German Ministry of Transport.
"We are extending the Burtenbach facility because we expect an increase in production volume in the coming years,” says Jürgen Steinbacher, Managing Director Finances, Controlling and Personnel at Kögel.
