Great Dane’s Rob Ulsh has been elected to serve on the board of directors for the National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA).

Great Dane’s Vice President of Dealer and International Sales Rob Ulsh has been elected to serve as an Allied member on the board of directors for the National Trailer Dealers Association (NTDA).

Great Dane has been part of the NTDA for over 20 years and Ulsh is the third Great Dane member to serve on the board of directors.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve on the NTDA’s board of directors,” Ulsh said. “I’m looking forward to not only serving, but also learning from the exceptional network of industry professionals who make up this organization.”

The NTDA represents nearly 900 companies that sell, manufacture, lease and repair semi-trailers and trailer parts and accessories throughout North America. Some of the organization’s objectives include influencing and improving the economic and regulatory environments affecting the trailer industry, educating members on critical industry news, issues and trends and providing a forum for communication among all industry segments.

“Great Dane is proud to have members of our executive leadership team actively participate and serve on the boards of industry organizations,” said Chris Hammond, Great Dane’s executive vice president of Sales. “Their service as corporate representatives allows Great Dane to help shape the future of the transportation industry.”

Earlier this year, Ulsh was also nominated to serve on the board of directors for the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE), an unbiased, comprehensive group that seeks to help the transportation industry navigate new energy efficiency options.
