Cummins Onan is offering a free webinar about new emission regulations from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that affect a wide range of vehicles with on-board generators, including fire trucks and other emergency vehicles, telecom and utility fleet vehicles, towable trailers and mobile food vending trucks, and other specialty vehicles. The webinar will be April 29 at 1 p.m. CDT.

The webinar will be presented by Eric Bollensen, customer application engineer, commercial mobile, for Cummins Onan. Meeting the new emission standards for mobile generators is a challenge, especially for smaller businesses. For example, gas-fueled generators must comply with evaporative as well as exhaust emissions. Compliance may require different fuel tanks, charcoal canisters and fuel hoses. The exhaust standards reduce hydrocarbon and nitrogen oxide emissions by more than 33%. Failure to comply can result in a $35,000 fine, imprisonment, or both.

Bollensen will discuss what the new regulations require and what that means for owners and builders of these vehicles, as well as how Cummins Onan is meeting these new standards. Please join us at:
