Wabash to Build 3,100 Trailers for Swift

Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) announced confirmation of a three-year purchase agreement with Swift Transportation Co., Inc. which calls for building 3,100 new DuraPlate HD dry vans over the next 12 months. Trailer production for the 3,100 units will begin at the end of March.
Wabash National’s DuraPlate HD trailer continues to be the trailer of choice for Swift.
“Our goal is to continue to offer our customers the most reliable and efficient equipment, so that they experience outstanding overall performance from Swift Transportation,” said President and Chief Operating Officer of Swift Transportation Richard Stocking. “We believe the DuraPlate HD from Wabash National is the best trailer equipment option to help us achieve that goal.”
