Warner Bodies acquires Metro division

Apr 1, 2008 12:00 PM

Warner Bodies, a manufacturer of utility bodies, trailer-towing haulers, and fire and rescue trucks, has expanded its business by purchasing the fabrication division of Metro Products. Metro, an Indianapolis IN-based fabrication facility, manufactures small- and medium-volume subcontract work for a variety of customers. Warner also acquired Metro's Langsenkamp line of food processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical equipment. The acquisition will bring around $1.5 million in sales to the company.

Warner has broken ground on a new 30,000-square-foot facility in Noblesville IN. The company plans to move the 15 employees along with its CNC turret presses, laser, and other fabrication equipment to this facility in mid-June.
