Titan Thinwall design makes European debut

For the first time, Titan Trailers Inc showcased its patented Thinwall design, with an all extruded live-floor trailer, at the Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition in Birmingham, England recently. Using an extruded aluminum horizontal panel design allows the Titan Thinwall to deliver a lighter, more durable, larger-capacity, fuel-saving trailer.
European specifications include Tridem 51½" spread, 83" track axles; Hendrickson air-ride HT300 suspension; and Wabco 2S2M antilock braking system. The landing gear is Holland Mark 5; the 26-slat live floor is a Keith RF II with splash bearings full-length. A one-piece top spring bar is installed in the middle for free loader movement, and the top rail is tapered for self-cleaning. The shedder is a heavy-duty flip-up type; doors are van style (rear) and walk-in (front wall). This trailer has a 120.3-cubic-yard capacity.
