Krone's 350-trailer delivery helps DHL deliver

DHL Worldwide Express has renewed its fleet with 350 Krone trailer vehicles. TIP (Transport International Pool) is leaser and owner of the new vehicles, which are semitrailers from the Profi Liner and Mega Liner ranges.
At the moment, 60 vehicles a day leave the Krone plant in Werlte. Around 450 employees of the vehicle plant generated revenue of 331.9 million euros in 2003; revenue for the entire Krone Group was about 531.6 million euros. For the current financial year, Krone anticipates a new record turnover of around 600 million euros, of which 400 million will come from the Commercial Vehicle division.
