Heil builds trailer for Ontario-Michigan

Heil Trailer International headquartered in Chattanooga TN, recently completed a 56,500-liter, five-compartment trailer with double heads and two liftable, steerable axles for use in the Ontario-Michigan market. The unit is equipped with features such as galvanized frame and hangers, which protect the suspension from oxidation. The suspension includes a WABCO Rollover Stability System to ensure safe operation in hazardous conditions and two liftable, steerable axles. The liftable steerables allow maximum payload capability in Canada, Michigan, and New York. The unit was sold by Heil's Canadian distributor, Intrans/Tankmaster of Mississagua, Ontario, to Fromet Fuel Carriers of London, Ontario.
This specialized unit was built at Heil's 213,000-square-foot Athens TN facility.
