Timpte Unveils New Trailer, Trap-Opening System

Timpte Trailers has introduced a new “Combo/Tender” Hopper trailer and an “Easy Flow” hydraulic remote control trap-opening system.
The trailer is the next generation of multi-purpose grain hopper trailers with a removable auger system. This “Combo/Tender” Hopper trailer is designed to move bulk fertilizer or seed quickly and efficiently.
Some features:
- Removable auger feature. After the fertilizer season just remove the auger unit and the trailer becomes a conventional grain hopper.
- Fast unloading. Up to 4,000 pounds per minute.
- Proven auger flighting that won’t rust.
The trap-opening system features two hydraulic cylinders installed on each side of the trap frame for effortless trap operation. Trips from the field to the elevator or bin site are now even faster. The operator can open the trap from the side of the trailer, the cab of the truck, or use the RF wireless standard remote.
Electrical connectors and radio receiver are enclosed inside the control box to protect them from the elements.
