Stoughton Trailers Adds ‘Tough Plate’ Dry Freight Van

Stoughton Trailers LLC announced the newest addition to its dry freight van product lineup: the “Tough Plate.”
“Our market research indicated large trucking companies were looking for an alternative supplier to compete on quality, price and specification for this type trailer product, and we’re the logical choice to advance that opportunity,” says Vice President Sales & Marketing Brian Prall.
The new “Tough Plate” will feature the standard proprietary technologies that have made the Stoughton brand known for low trailer maintenance and operating expense, as well as several new high-technology options, including hot-dipped galvanizing, disc braking systems and aerodynamic treatments that will have broad market appeal in the years ahead.
