NATM Seeks Tire Input From Members

Aug 10, 2009 1:43 PM

The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) is seeking input from members regarding the news that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is considering adopting new regulations applicable to those companies selling "P" tires to consumers purchasing certain motor vehicles.

Those regulations could apply to retail sales of "P" tires for installation on trailers. NATM is planning on submitting comments to NHTSA to address this issue, but needs to know whether its members do in fact sell "P" tires for use on trailers.

Members should complete the survey.
