Former Utility Executive Dies

Michael Leon Britain 53, passed away unexpectedly on August 17 at his home.

Britain had a long and successful career in the trailer industry working in many different capacities for Utility Trailer Manufacturing over 24 years and most recently for the last several years with US Liner Company developing a Dealer Network and Aftermarket Programs.

He was born May 23, 1953, in Pittsfield, MA, a son of Robert L. and Elizabeth Boudo Britain. Visitation for friends and family was held Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at French Mortuary, Albuquerque, NM. Interment took place in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, NM.

Mike was a graduate of Taconic High in Pittsfield, MA, and North Adams State College in North Adams, MA. He was a decorated war veteran serving 8 years in the Navy, including Vietnam and had a deep love for the sea. An avid sportsman, Mike loved all sports, especially basketball and baseball plus his beloved Broncos.
