Armor Holdings Receives $17 Million Award for Up-Armored HMMWVs

Armor Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of military vehicles, vehicle armor systems and life safety and survivability systems, announced today the receipt of orders valued at $17 million from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command

Armor Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of military vehicles, vehicle armor systems and life safety and survivability systems, announced today the receipt of orders valued at $17 million from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command for additional production of M1116 Up-Armored HMMWV vehicles to support the USAF and for transparent armor spare parts for Up-Armored HMMWVs. Work will be performed during 2007 by the Armor Holdings Aerospace and Defense Group at its facilities near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Robert Schiller, President of Armor Holdings, Inc., said, "We are pleased to receive additional production demand for the M1116 Up-Armored HMMWV and for additional work in our ballistic glass plant to support our military force. We also are delighted to continue to build on our workload for execution in 2007."
