Old Dominion Opens New Service Center in Pennsylvania

Mark Madden, vice president of the Northeast region for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the opening of a new service center in Erie, Pa. The 33-door facility is located on a five-acre site at 3025 W. 17th St, Erie, Pa.

According to Madden, the Erie Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Manager of Sales & Service Ron Mendel, who will direct a staff of nine.

"The opening of the Erie Service Center will enhance the level of service we provide to our existing customer base in Ohio, Pennsylvania and western New York," said Madden. "Old Dominion will be positioned to gain market share in points currently being served."
