M&K Truck Centers, the 2014 Dealer of the Year for Volvo North America, has acquired L&V Trailer Sales Inc, which will go by the name of M&K Trailer Centers, operating out of L&V’s current location at 2655 Burlingame Avenue in Wyoming, Michigan.
M&K Truck Centers’ corporate mission is to be recognized as the preferred provider of transportation products and service, and now it adds trailer sales, rentals and leasing to the expanding company. This acquisition will help fulfill that mission by allowing M&K to provide one-stop shopping for trucks, trailers, leasing, rental, parts and service.
M&K has served transportation customers for over 25 years. The former L&V staff of 25 employees, including president Rob Velthouse, who will serve as General Manager for the newly formed company, join M&K’s team of over 500 employees.

L&V is an authorized dealer for Wabash National, East, Fontaine and Timpte Trailers. These premium brands will be the base of M&K Trailer Centers’ inventory and add to the manufacturers that represent the best in the industry and are represented by M&K.
The president of M&K Truck Centers, Ron Meyering, also plans to explore the opportunities to expand the trailer business across the Midwest.

In addition to leasing services and as a member of NationaLease, financing options are available as well. M&K provides trusted and reliable service and repair on all makes and models at their facilities.
As Volvo’s 2014 Dealer of the Year winner and one of the largest Mack/Volvo dealer groups in the nation, M&K Truck Centers just opened its 10th dealership in Des Plaines, Illinois, in June.
