Jim Hawk Truck Trailers marks 30 years

In 1974, Jim Hawk purchased the Brown Trailer Co's sales, service, and parts facility in Council Bluffs IA. Later that year, he became Great Dane Trailer's newest dealer. In the past 30 years, Jim Hawk Truck Trailers has grown to include locations in Des Moines IA, Davenport IA, Sioux City IA, East Peoria IL, Kansas City MO, Sioux Falls SD, and Fargo ND.
To commemorate this 30th anniversary, the company is having eight 48-foot Great Dane stainless steel, spread-axle reefers built at its Nebraska plant. One of the purchasers of these trailers will win a new Harley-Davidson 1200-cc motorcycle, plus other awards.
Jim Hawk Truck Trailers carries a full line of new Great Dane reefers, dry freight vans, platform trailers, parts and service. It also stocks new Midland steel dump trailers, Red River Ag product belt trailers, and Fontaine specialized detachable low boys. Some locations handle Travis and East dump trailers.
