Curtainsider, reefer sales up in United Kingdom

In the first nine months of the 2007-2008 financial year, the United Kingdom's sales of Schmitz Cargobull refrigerated trailers were up 40% compared with the previous financial year, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd's Transport News Brief.
During the same period, the firm almost doubled sales of curtainsiders to the U.K. market against 2006-2007's figures.
The firm says it has made “significant investment” in production techniques and processes at its U.K. factory facility, increasing capacity by more than 50%.
