Some of the manufacturing techniques used in the company’s container manufacturing operation in Qingdao are being transferred to the nearby refrigerated trailer plant.A newly built container is positioned at the CIMC plant in Qingdao. CIMC reportedly is the world’s largest manufacturer of refrigerated containers.The first of two production lines planned for the new CIMC refrigerated trailer plant in Qingdao, China, is now in operation.
Holes for each crossmember are punched with one stroke. With two punches working in tandem, CIMC can punch the holes for one trailer in one pass.Roll former produces the corrugation in the side sheets.Press sets the rivets on the sidewall.
