Yellow orders new Volvo trucks

Yellow Transportation Inc. has ordered 154 Volvo VNM day-cab tractors for delivery in the first quarter of 2003, Volvo Trucks North America Inc. said. Each of Yellow's new Volvo VNMs will be powered by the Volvo VED12 engine, which complies with EPA'02 emissions standards. "We are especially pleased that Yellow will now be using our Volvo engines, as well as our trucks," said Volvo Trucks vp – sales Scott Kress. "This is a strong vote of confidence in Volvo Trucks' new products."
