Volvo Trucks creates leasing system

Sep 22, 2003 12:00 PM

Volvo Trucks North America Inc. has created the Volvo Truck Leasing System (VTLS) to serve the trucking industry’s need for full-service truck leasing and rental, and has a system of 160 service locations across North America.

Through VTLS, a complete line of Volvo trucks and a full menu of highly customizable offerings, including contract maintenance, full-service leases, finance leases, and truck rentals are available. VTLS members also offer support services such as parts, tax service, tires, permits, licensing, fuel cards, road service, insurance and credit cards.

In addition to providing Volvo leasing and support, each location will provide service for both Volvo and Mack vehicles in the leasing system.

Terry Dubowick director of Mack Leasing System, is the head of VTLS, which is initially comprised of the members of the existing Mack Leasing System. Of those dealers, 23 are Volvo Truck dealers.
